Racial Attack Sparks Chaos on Brighton Bus

Brighton cops are on the hunt after a racially charged row exploded on a No. 26 bus along Ditchling Road. The ugly drama kicked off Friday, 3 October, just after 4:30pm.

Bus Brawl Ends with Suspect Dragged Off

A man shouted abuse at a woman before a furious fight broke out with another passenger. Two brave men at the Prince’s Crescent stop, opposite the Roundhill pub, dragged the troublemaker off the bus. In the scuffle, red paint was sprayed inside and out, adding to the chaos.

Suspect Description – Police Want to Hear From You

  • Height: Around 5’7”
  • Age: Mid to late 50s
  • Clothes: Beige baseball cap, blue coat, carrying a rucksack

The man made off before police arrived.

Officers Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives are chasing leads and want anyone who saw the row or has CCTV to get in touch. You can report info online or call 101 quoting serial 941 of 03/10.
