Teen Arrested in Walsall Terror Probe

Police swooped on a Walsall address early Tuesday morning, 22 November, detaining an 18-year-old man linked to Islamist terrorism.

The Met arrested the youth on suspicion of spreading terrorist publications, under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006. Officers also conducted a warrant-led search at the property.

He remains in custody but was bailed until mid-February 2023 as investigations continue.
