Twisted Sexual Predator Caught After Targeting Three Women on Essex Trains
A “twisted” sex offender terrorised lone women on trains in Essex over just three days – and now he’s behind bars. Izat Ullah, 25, from Hull, was sentenced to 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to multiple sexual offences.
Three Victims, Three Shocking Attacks on Trains
- On March 15, Ullah sat opposite a woman on a London to Southend train. He started touching himself over his trousers. When the woman tried to leave, he shoved her back into her seat, groped her upper body, and tried to kiss her. She escaped by moving to another carriage.
- Less than 24 hours later, Ullah exposed himself to an 18-year-old on a train in the evening. He masturbated openly, then tried to touch her despite her protests, responding only with “I’m sorry.”
- The very next morning, Ullah stalked a third victim on a train to Southend. He followed her off the train and waited outside her taxi stop.
Swift Police Action Brings Predator to Justice
British Transport Police arrested Ullah twice – once at Southend Victoria station and again outside a children’s nursery for failing to comply with his Sex Offenders Register duties.
“Ullah is a twisted offender who prowled the railway targeting lone victims for his own sexual gratification,” said Detective Constable Lucy King. “He poses a clear threat to women’s safety and the right to travel freely. I’m grateful to the brave victims who came forward and helped with our investigation. This behaviour will not be tolerated.”
Ullah received a 16-month prison sentence plus ten years on the Sex Offenders Register.
