Fake SIA Licence Lands Door Guard in Hot Water
Bexley Magistrates’ Court has issued a warrant for Razaaq Bankole, 20, from Gilbert Road, Belvedere. He must be arrested and brought to court for using a fake Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence under a false name.
Caught Red-Handed at Croydon’s Boxpark
Last April, on the 23rd and 24th, SIA inspectors caught Bankole working at Boxpark, Croydon. They discovered his licence was a sham and he was impersonating someone else.
Charges: Fraud and Failing to Appear
Bankole faces two fraud charges for falsely claiming to be ‘O Falaye’ to hold a valid SIA licence. He’s accused of dishonestly representing himself to gain a security role he wasn’t entitled to.
He was due in court on January 11 but skipped the hearing. Judge DJ Turnock promptly issued a warrant for his arrest. Now, Bankole not only faces fraud charges but also failing to appear—potentially landing him behind bars.
The fake door security guard’s deceit could cost him serious prison time.
