Laura Davis Charged After Hate Crime Protest

Laura Davis, 21, from Hendon Way, Barnet, faces charges of racially aggravated threatening and abusive behaviour. She allegedly held a racially offensive and anti-Semitic sign during a protest in Westminster.

Arrest and Upcoming Court Date

Davis was arrested on Friday, 28 October. She is currently out on bail and due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 29 November.

Met Police Step Up Patrols to Combat Hate Crime

A Met Police spokesperson said: “We are listening to London communities during these difficult times. Our priority is to make all Londoners feel safe. We will thoroughly investigate concerns and take positive action against anyone committing hate crimes.”

The force has boosted patrols, deploying over 1,000 officers on high-visibility duty across the capital, especially in vulnerable communities.
