Stalker Sentenced After Pig’s Head Horror and Racial Abuse Campaign
Tia McBean, 23, from SE14, has been slammed with 15 months behind bars at Woolwich Crown Court. She pleaded guilty to a slew of charges, including breaching a restraining order seven times, racial damage to property, stalking, harassment, and sending offensive messages.
Obsession Turns Ugly After Break-Up
After a brief relationship ended in 2018, McBean launched a relentless hate campaign against her ex. Over two years, she bombarded him and his partner with up to 100 calls a day. She even made multiple false police reports accusing him of kidnapping and child abuse.
The harassment escalated with notes and photos pinned to his front door and rubbish dumped outside his home. A restraining order slapped on McBean in May 2019 barely slowed her down.
Disturbing Delivery Sparks Fear
In 2020, McBean took things to another level. She flooded the victim’s home and work with takeaway orders, culminating in a sickening delivery of a severed pig’s head on 25 February. One of the victim’s colleagues opened the box and was left traumatised.
Racial Abuse and False Claims Continue
McBean didn’t stop there. CCTV caught her daubing racial slurs on the victim’s property. Following her arrest, she kept up the barrage of lies and false accusations against him until she was finally remanded in custody for witness intimidation linked to the pig’s head incident.
Detective Constable Vikki Eaton said: “McBean subjected the victim to a torrent of hate over a sustained period. Her obsession caused serious distress to him and his loved ones, proving she is a dangerous individual deserving of her sentence.”
“Her endless false allegations also wasted police resources and showed blatant disregard for the law.
“I hope this sentence gives the victim some closure as McBean serves time to reflect on her actions.”
