A Southampton court heard today how brothers Billy and Geoffrey Midmore turned vengeful after a £2,000 drug deal fell apart. The pair bought drain cleaner packed with highly concentrated acid to carry out a brutal attack.
Victim Targeted During Night Out
The acid assault left Carla Whitlock, a mum of six, permanently scarred. She was out enjoying a night at Turtle Bay in Southampton with her partner Matthew when the attack happened.
Billy on Trial, Geoffrey Already Pleaded Guilty
Billy Midmore, 22, faces trial at Southampton Crown Court accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. His brother Geoffrey has already pleaded guilty to dousing Carla’s face with the burning liquid.
