Man Assaults Woman on Late Night Walk – Police Launch Hunt
Victim Targeted on Dark Street
A woman was grabbed from behind and indecently touched over her clothes while walking along Delce Road around 11.30pm on Monday 19 April 2021. The terrifying attack left her shaken as officers scrambled to identify the suspect.
Police Release CCTV Image
Shortly after the incident, cops unveiled a computer-generated image of the man they want to speak to in connection with the assault. They are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward without delay.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
A 35-year-old man from Medway was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault as part of ongoing enquiries. He has since been released on bail until Saturday 22 May, while detectives continue to investigate.
