Shoplifter Busted for Multiple Vehicle Thefts in Ashford

Louise Ashdown, 40, from Park Place, Ashford, was nailed by cops on 20 July 2021. She faces four charges of stealing from vehicles after a tip-off to the Ashford Victim Based Crime Team. The stolen haul included sunglasses, cash, clothes, and a laptop, snatched from cars between 9 and 13 July.

Attempted Porsche Heist and Shoplifting Add to Her Troubles

Ashdown didn’t stop there. She’s also charged with trying to nick from a Porsche Boxster on 10 July. Plus, she faces a shoplifting claim for stealing goods worth £152.22 from a 1 store in Folkestone on 20 June.

Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Date

Louise Ashdown was thrown into custody and is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 21 July. The case adds to the crackdown on vehicle and retail theft in the Kent area.
