A violent assault on Hythe Road, Sittingbourne, saw a 38-year-old man arrested on bank holiday Monday, 7 May 2018.

Police Snap Up Suspect After Afternoon Attack

Kent Police rushed to the scene at 4:28pm following reports of a man being attacked. Officers quickly detained Daniel Thomas, also of Hythe Road, on suspicion of assault.

Victim Hospitalised with Arm Injury

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and remains under care for his arm injury.

Serious Charges Brought Against Daniel Thomas

Thomas now faces charges of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and grievous bodily harm with intent. He’s been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 6 June 2018.
