London Drug Dealer Jailed for Pushing Crack and Heroin in Sheerness
County Lines Operation Busted
Jordan Watkis, 22, has been locked up for five years for running a county lines drug operation from London to Sheerness. Watkis arranged for another man to sell crack cocaine and heroin in Kent while he managed deals from his Hackney home.
Caught Red-Handed by Mobile Phone Evidence
Detectives uncovered the scheme through phone records showing both men travelling to Sheppey together on 6 September 2018. Watkis returned to London alone but kept texting local users to connect them with his dealer and set prices.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest
Watkis made a return trip to Kent on 10 September but was arrested the next day at a property in Chatham. He admitted being involved in supplying class A drugs and was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on 31 May 2019.
Detective Constable Robin Hemsley said: “London gangs are always hunting for new markets to push crack and heroin. But this case shows we won’t tolerate class A drugs in Kent. We’ll keep targeting those who exploit vulnerable communities with these deadly drugs.”
