Major Breakthrough as Siner Crime Gang Jailed for 91 Years

Seventeen members of the notorious Siner Organised Crime Group (OCG) have been slammed with a staggering 91 years behind bars. This ruthless gang supplied crack and heroin across Liverpool, Gosport, and Plymouth, operating under the chilling brand name ‘Scouse Dave’.

Top Siners Face Huge Prison Terms and £4 Million Payback

Brothers Anthony and Brian Siner led this sophisticated County Lines drug empire. Anthony grabbed 17 years and 7 months, while Brian copped 15 years and 9 months. Four ring leaders, including the Siners and their managers, owe nearly £4 million to the authorities — cash they’ll struggle to keep.

  • Anthony Siner, 38, jailed 17 years 7 months
  • Brian Siner, 42, jailed 15 years 9 months
  • Adam Hughes, 39, operational manager, jailed 8½ years
  • Gary Cranney, 41, operational manager, jailed 7 years

The gang’s last member, Danny Venning, was locked up for 6 years and 9 months in December, marking the end of this gritty investigation.

Serious Crime Orders Clamp Down on Siners

While behind bars, the Siners face Serious Crime Prevention Orders that restrict their freedom on release. They’re limited in mobile phones, SIM cards, and cash they can carry. Both are banned from entering Fareham, Gosport, and Plymouth — key hot spots for their illegal empire. Anthony must even notify police about any vehicle use.

So far, the brothers have paid back just £1 each but face asset seizures until the full £4 million is repaid.

Police Smash County Lines Supply Chain

The investigation, led by Hampshire & Isle of Wight police with Merseyside and Devon & Cornwall forces, uncovered over 34kg of crack and heroin sold between 2022 and 2023. They seized drugs, weapons, and £30,000 in cash during raids.

Couriers transported bulk drugs and cash between Liverpool, Gosport, and Plymouth, with local runners maintaining the ‘Scouse Dave’ brand. Notably, Brian Siner controlled the Plymouth operation from prison, showing the gang’s reach.

Police Send Warning to Other Gangs

“County Lines gangs like the Siner organised crime group inflict misery on communities, peddling drugs, preying on the vulnerable, and engaging in serious violence and anti-social behaviour,” said Chief Inspector Marcus Kennedy.

“We have taken out key players and prevented them profiting from their crimes.”

Detective Sergeant Peter Sloan added, “This operation dismantled a dangerous organised crime group causing havoc from Liverpool to Plymouth. We’ll keep using every power to protect the public.”
