We can exclusively reveal that filming for the new Jurassic World sequel is about to roar into action in Hampshire this week. Crews have been working non-stop to build three massive set sections on Minley Road, right at the former Pyestock jet engine testing site, now called Hartland Park.
Set Construction in Full Swing
Bright orange “AF” signs litter the sprawling location as giant cranes tower over the site. Grey American trucks have been rolling in all day, delivering essential gear. A huge base camp, helicopter landing zone, and expansive set are all going up in preparation for the big shoot.
Filming Kicks Off April 18
Cameras will start rolling at 1 Common from 7pm on April 18. Night shoots will then take place at Hartland Park, with heavy vehicle movements expected throughout. To manage logistics, a fleet of 20 minibuses will shuttle crew and stars around the sprawling filming zone.
This top-secret project is set to bring Jurassic thrills right to the heart of Hampshire.
