Dartford House Shut Down Over Drug and Anti-Social Chaos
A trouble-hit property in Dartford has been slammed with a three-month closure order after a string of drug misuse and anti-social behaviour complaints. Locals and visitors alike have had enough of the ongoing chaos.
Police Seal Off Willow Road Property After Court Order
On Wednesday 8 October 2025, Kent Police secured a deserted house on Willow Road following a court ruling at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court. The building, owned by the local council, now stands locked and guarded with a warning: trespassers face fines or jail.
Community Fumes, Police Strike Back
“Residents and visitors to the area have suffered anti-social behaviour and incidents of disorder involving those using this premises for some time,” said Police Sergeant Rob Wilkinson. “They raised concerns with their local constables and council enforcement officers, who warned the occupants of the consequences if they continued. Their behaviour failed to improve and we have now put in place prohibitive measures to address this.”
The crackdown comes under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. Dartford Borough Council is moving to gain possession of the property to stop further trouble.
Strict Warning to Anti-Social Troublemakers
PS Wilkinson warned: “We work closely with the local authority to tackle disorderly behaviour that can affect the quality of life for residents. Any other people who choose to pursue an anti-social and often criminal lifestyle can expect similar consequences.”
The message is clear: Dartford won’t tolerate homes turned into hubs for crime and chaos.
