On the Run: Ryan Igbinovia Wanted Over Fatal East London Stabbing
Ryan Igbinovia, 26, is a suspect in the brutal murder of Michael Fadeyibi, who was stabbed to death on Henniker Road, E15, in the early hours of August 6, 2021.
While one man has already been convicted for Michael’s murder, Igbinovia remains at large. He has known links to Stratford, southeast London, and Birmingham.
Michael’s Family Pleads for Justice
“My son Michael was cruelly taken away on that day,” said father Charlie Fadeyibi. “Michael was a beloved son, brother, and grandson. The men responsible ripped him from his mother and shattered our family.”
“They never thought about the pain they caused. My daughter Rebecca looked up to Michael – losing him has broken her. No human deserves to die like this.”
“Two men are to blame: one convicted, one still free. It’s terrifying to know the killer is roaming our streets. This man who hunted and stabbed my son could strike again.”
“I beg anyone with information to come forward. Help us find this man and bring him to justice.”
Police Offer £10,000 Reward for Information
Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen of the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command said:
“Michael’s death devastated his loved ones who deserve justice. I am confident someone will find where Igbinovia is hiding. If you have any information, please contact us or Crimestoppers anonymously.”
The Met have put up a substantial reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to Igbinovia’s arrest.
Deadly Hunt Through East London Streets
Michael Fadeyibi was chased and stabbed multiple times on the streets of Henniker Road. Despite emergency services rushing to the scene, he died from his wounds.
Christopher Owens-Wright, 23, was found guilty of Michael’s murder and wounding another friend on July 4, 2022. His sentencing is due on September 16 at Inner London Crown Court.
