Police Hunt Desmond Mark Linked to String of London Burglaries
The Met Police are urgently seeking Desmond Mark, 51, connected to burglary sprees across Deptford, Brockley, Catford, and New Cross.
Who Is Desmond Mark?
- Age: 51
- Height: 5ft 8ins
- Build: Slim
- Features: Scruffy facial hair, pock-marked skin
- Currently believed to be walking with a limp
Burglary Spree Across South East London
The South East Burglary and Robbery Investigation Team is probing these recent home break-ins:
- 18 August – Residential burglary, Vesta Road, SE4
- 2 October – Residential burglary, Halesworth Road, SE13
- 3 October – Residential burglary, Barriedale Road, SE14
- 26 October – Residential burglary, Inchmery Road, SE6
- 27 October – Residential burglary, Sayes Court Street, SE8
Detective’s Warning
Detective Inspector Martin Thomas of the Met’s investigation team said:
“We’ve released an image of Desmond Mark who we urgently want to speak to. We appeal to the public to help find his whereabouts. Someone must know where he is. Remember, harbouring a wanted person could mean committing a criminal offence.”
