Axe and Hammer Used in Wild Fight Outside Dorset Steakhouse
Dorset Police were called to chaos at Miller & Carter Steakhouse, Wallisdown Road, around 6pm on Friday, March 4, 2022. Reports say a violent brawl erupted in the car park, with some brawlers armed with an axe and hammer.
Car Vandalised, Woman Injured
During the melee, a nearby vehicle had its windows, windscreen, and wing mirrors smashed to pieces. A woman caught up in the scuffle suffered a stomach injury, though officers say it’s not serious.
Man Arrested Amid Axe and Hammer Mayhem
After investigations, cops detained a 56-year-old Bournemouth man on suspicion of affray. Detective Constable Kate Brew from Bournemouth CID urged eyewitnesses to come forward.
“A full investigation is underway and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please contact Dorset Police,” she said.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on mobile phone or dashcam footage.”
