Man Charged Over Llantwit Fardre Woman’s Shocking Death

June Fox-Roberts, 65, was found dead at her home in Llantwit Fardre on 21 November 2021. Luke Deeley, 25, has been charged with her murder and is now in custody.

Police Hunt For Missing Phone and Clothing

South Wales Police are urgently searching for June’s missing iPhone 11, which was in a distinctive red flip case. They believe it may have been dropped, discarded, or sold.

Detectives are also keen to trace two items of clothing linked to Deeley. CCTV footage shows him wearing a red hooded jumper with drawstrings and a black, waist-length hooded jacket around the time of the incident.

Community Plea: Keep Your Eyes Peeled

“Despite extensive searches, we have not managed to locate these items. We believe they were probably discarded somewhere between Llantwit Fardre and Pontypridd. Farm workers, ramblers, and locals living in villages between these areas are asked to keep an eye out,” said Det Insp Matt Powell.

He urged anyone who finds the clothes or June’s phone to hand them in immediately. The phone’s unique IMEI number is 356809119984924 and serial number GONDC2KFM737.
