Teen Charged with Murder of Fares Alongside Drug Supply Ring

A 15-year-old boy was charged on Thursday, 29 April with the murder of Fares. He also faces charges for possession of an offensive weapon and involvement in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

Six Men Nabbed Over Drugs and Assisting Offenders

  • Hashim Munye, 18, no fixed address – charged with assisting an offender and drug supply.
  • Nicholas Merceirnu, 22, no fixed address – charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin.
  • William Himfen, 53, Lea Hall Gardens, Leyton – charged with drug supply offences.
  • Adrean Kudelki, 30, no fixed address – drug supply charges.
  • Ali Mohammadi, 18, Hertford Road, Hackney – charged with drug supply.

All six men were arrested at a Leyton address on Tuesday, 27 April, and appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 29 April.

Earlier Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

Three teenage boys were previously arrested on Friday, 23 April. Among them, two boys aged 14 and 15 were held on suspicion of murder, while another 15-year-old was also arrested in connection with the case.

One 15-year-old boy has since been formally charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon, appearing at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 28 April. Two others have been bailed until late May.

A further 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, 24 April, and has also been bailed to late May.
