Early Morning Police Storm Uncovers Huge Haul
Police swooped on a property in Swift Crescent, Deal at 3.36am on 29 July after concerns were raised for someone’s welfare inside. When no one answered the door but movement was spotted inside, officers forced their way in.
During the raid, a man tried to escape through a window but was quickly caught and detained at the scene.
Massive Cache of Weapons and Drugs Found
A thorough search revealed a staggering haul of more than 30 dangerous items and illegal substances, including:
- Machete
- Serrated knives
- Hammer
- Large amounts of clingfilm and weighing scales
- White powders scattered across multiple rooms
- Wraps of suspected Class A and Class B drugs
Man Arrested and Released on Bail
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of:
- Possession of Class A and B drugs
- Being involved in supplying Class A drugs
- Possession of an offensive weapon
No other suspects were found inside. He has since been released on bail as the investigation continues.
