Drug Bust in Tunbridge Wells: Mini Driver Nabbed with Cocaine

A routine stop in Tunbridge Wells turned into a major drug bust on Wednesday morning. Police pulled over a Mini Countryman in London Road at around 11am and found more than they bargained for.

42 Wraps of Cocaine and £103 Cash Seized

Officers searched the suspicious vehicle and uncovered 42 wraps of cocaine. They also seized £103 in cash, believed to be linked to the drug trade.

18-Year-Old Van Tran Charged and Remanded

The driver, 18-year-old Van Tran from Bexleyheath, was arrested on the spot. He now faces charges of possession with intent to supply cocaine and holding criminal property. Tran was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 14 November.
