At around 4pm, police launched a swift operation, sealing off Rosedale Road, Glencoe Road, Wharfedale Road, and Malham Drive. Locals described scenes of chaos as emergency services flooded the area.

The Ministry of Defence’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team arrived to inspect the suspicious items under police watch. Kent Fire and Rescue also attended, supporting the delicate investigation. A cordon remains firmly in place while risks are assessed.
