Andrew Edwards, 31, once a Wiltshire Police officer, has landed in hot water again. The ex-cop from Parkfields, Chippenham, faces charges for breaching a court order after allegedly spying on his ex’s Facebook story.
Edwards was previously convicted at Bristol Crown Court for stalking and misconduct in public office. He notoriously abused police systems to track his ex-girlfriend and her new partner.
He served as a response officer in Chippenham but was suspended the moment Wiltshire Police caught wind of his creepy antics.
Flouting the Law Again
In July, Edwards was slapped with a Stalking Protection Order alongside a suspended sentence. But on 11 October, he allegedly peeked at his victim’s Facebook story – a direct violation of that order.
He’s due in Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 21 October, to answer these fresh charges.
