£1 Million Worth of Cocaine Seized in Surrey

Kent Police have made a major drug bust, seizing £1 million worth of suspected cocaine. Officers stopped a vehicle in Chessington, Surrey, on 30 July 2020 and found 10 kilos of the Class A drug hidden inside.

Investigation Leads to Dartford Drug Raid

The stop was part of a wider probe into cocaine supply in Kent. Police also executed a search warrant at a property in Dartford on the same day, resulting in further evidence collection.

Four Men Arrested and Charged

Kent and 1 Serious Crime Directorate detectives charged four men with conspiracy to supply cocaine. The suspects are:

  • Mark Lazarus, 55, of Nightingale Vale, Woolwich
  • Colin Mugalu, 39, of Havelock Road, Greenhithe
  • Simon Kambagu, 32, of Sun Court, Erith
  • Robbie Dunn, 25, of Hilltop Gardens, Dartford

All four men have been remanded in custody. They are set to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday 1 September.
