Detective Sgt’s Warning: Weapons Off London Streets
“I am pleased that we have been able to take a dangerous weapon, that could have been used to kill or seriously injury someone, off the streets of London,” said Detective Sergeant Vanessa Calafat.
“Finding the firearm right next to a box of ammo shows the dangerous intent of those controlling it.
“We’re working round the clock to bring those involved to justice. Firearms have absolutely no place on our streets, and their removal makes London safer for all.”
“The Met stays committed to smashing violent crime and seizing weapons. We will keep cracking down on criminals until justice is served.”
