Five Arrested After Early Morning Dartford Protest
Police hauled in five protesters after more than 20 blocked a business site in Dartford at the crack of dawn.
Protesters Lock Onto Entrances
At 4.24am on Friday 26 November, officers were called to the 1 Business Centre to deal with activists obstructing two access points. Some chained themselves to concrete and wooden structures, causing a standstill.
Swift Police Action Ends Standoff
- Five suspects arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass
- Others dispersed by 2.30pm
- Police worked closely with business managers to minimise chaos
All arrested have since been released on bail pending further investigations, due back by 24 December.
