Dartford Brawl Ends With Drug Dealer Slapped with Five Charges
Oluwaseyi Oyeyemi Busted After Street Fight
Five charges have been authorised against alleged drug dealer Oluwaseyi Oyeyemi following a disturbance in Dartford. The 26-year-old was arrested on Lowfield Street on the evening of Saturday 17 July 2021 after Kent Police were called to a fight involving individuals known to each other.
Serious Charges: Drugs, Knife, Assault
On Friday 23 July, Oyeyemi was slammed with multiple charges: possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply, carrying a knife in public, assaulting an emergency services worker, and acquiring criminal property—specifically a sum of cash.
The Erith resident was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 24 July. He was further remanded and is due back at Maidstone Crown Court on 13 August.
Second Man Also in the Frame
Oyeyemi isn’t alone in facing court. Hinzague Hanson, 21, from Gravesend, was arrested the next day and charged with wounding with intent. He too was remanded and will appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 17 August.
More Arrests Made, Investigations Continue
- Two other men, aged 39 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in class A drug supply.
- They have been bailed until 11 and 13 August, pending further enquiries.
