Teen Attacked with Corrosive Substance in East London

Police rushed to Walnut Road, E10, at around 8.25pm on Saturday, June 18, after reports of a violent fight. They found an 18-year-old man seriously injured, believed to have been attacked with a corrosive substance.

The victim was taken to hospital. His condition isn’t life-threatening but could be life-changing.

Police Hunt for Witnesses and Footage

Detectives from the North East Command Unit are investigating. They want to speak to anyone near Larch Road and Walnut Road between 8pm and 9pm that evening.

Authorities are especially interested in dash cam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from that hour.
