Ex-Metro Cop and Nightclub Bosses Face Bribery Charges
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has given the green light for charges against Frank Partridge, 48, a former Metropolitan Police Sergeant in Westminster’s licensing unit. He’s accused alongside seven business owners and nightclub operators over a bribery conspiracy that allegedly ran from February 2013 to June 2015.
Charges Officially Laid Ahead of December Court Date
The CPS Special Crime Division, after a thorough evidence review, authorised the charges. The accused are set for their first court appearance on 21 December 2021 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
The CPS stressed the importance of a fair trial. They warned against any online speculation or coverage that might prejudice the case, reminding everyone that deciding guilt is the court’s job, not theirs.
