Police have busted a vehicle theft ring after 18 cars were snatched across Kent towns, including Gravesend and Dartford. The stolen rides ranged from Ford Fiestas to luxury Range Rovers and Jaguars, mostly lifted during the day or early evening.

Four Charged Over String of Car Thefts

Following a linked investigation, officers have charged four suspects with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles. Riley Scamp, 28, from Faversham, and Abbey Caller, 23, from Gravesend, face charges along with two teenagers aged 16 and 17 from Swanscombe and Gravesend.

Court Appearances and Custody Decisions

All four appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 4 March. Scamp and Caller were remanded in custody, while the younger defendants were granted conditional release.

Next Stop: Woolwich Crown Court

The quartet is due to face Woolwich Crown Court on Friday 1 April as the investigation into the car theft spree continues.
