Merseyside Crime Boss Terence Earle Gets 16 Years as NCA Busts Dangerous Drug Gang
National Crime Agency Cracks Merseyside Drug Ring
The National Crime Agency (NCA) has smashed a major organised crime gang led by 49-year-old Terence Earle from St Helens. Using the encrypted messaging platform EncroChat, Earle ran a high-level criminal empire from Merseyside.
Gang’s Drugs Hidden in Liverpool Lorry
Earle directed his gang with help from his lieutenants Stanley Feerick, 68, Stephen Singleton, 36, both from Liverpool, and Stephen King, 49, from Dumbarton. The group produced 123 kilos of amphetamine at a secret lab in Scotland.
The drugs were hauled inside a lorry loaded from a warehouse on an industrial estate near a caravan park in Weeton, Liverpool.
Harsh Sentences Hit the Crew
All gang members were taken down by the NCA this year. Yesterday (18 April), at court, Earle copped 16-and-a-half years behind bars.
- Stephen Singleton got three years and four months
- Baxter received 22 months, suspended for 18 months
- Stephen King was handed 18 months, also suspended for 18 months
Feerick’s sentence will be decided on 3 May.
