Worthing Crime Spree Lands Homeless Man in Jail
A 27-year-old homeless man, Frazier Furlong, has been slammed with a two-year prison sentence after a wild two-week rampage in Worthing. His shocking crime spree included assaults on emergency workers, burglaries, theft, fraud, drug possession, and more.
Violent Outbursts and Burglaries
- Furlong’s outlaw antics kicked off on October 28 with a bungled break-in on Poulters Lane.
- Failing there, he trashed a TV and a car on Offington Drive.
- At arrest, he attacked an officer at Worthing Custody Centre.
Pub Raids and Smash-and-Grabs
- On November 2, he burgled a Warwick Street pub, nicking alcohol before hitting another pub on Brighton Road.
- He smashed a car window and fought arrest again.
Final Straw: Xbox Theft and Cocaine Possession
- On November 8, Furlong stole an Xbox from Currys in Lyons Farm and flogged it at a pawn shop.
- He vandalised two shops on Brighton Road and Warwick Street.
- Police found him in possession of cocaine during arrest, when he also assaulted officers.
Furlong owned up to all 16 charges at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on January 8. Justice has caught up with the desperate delinquents of Worthing.
