Bike Dumped in Canal After Shocking Incident

The bike was found dumped in a canal off Dockfield Road, Shipley, on July 15. The shooting left two men injured—one remains in critical condition in hospital, while the other has been released.

Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder

  • Nathan Scott, 32, of Sandholme Drive, Bradford
  • Tommy Lupton, 20, no fixed address

Both were charged with attempted murder and remanded in custody. Their next court hearing is at Bradford Crown Court on August 14. Meanwhile, three other men aged 29, 24, and 34 were released under investigation.

A 37-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender is still in custody.

Police Plea: Spot the Bike, Help Crack Case

Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Guy Shackleton said:

“This was an extremely serious incident that has left a man critically ill. We are releasing an image of the bike used in the shooting and asking anyone who saw it, or knows who was riding it, to come forward.”

“We are piecing together the bike’s movements from July 7 until it was found in Shipley on July 15. Any CCTV or dashcam footage showing the bike in Bradford would be a huge help.”
