Gravesend Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Police Knife Attack
A chilling attack on a Kent Police officer has landed a Gravesend man in hot water with an attempted murder charge.
Knife Assault During Early Morning Raid
Kuran Gill, 30, allegedly stabbed a police officer during a 6am raid at his home on Sun Marsh Way on Wednesday 21 April 2021. The officer suffered a serious wound to his left arm consistent with a stab injury. He was treated at a local hospital and has since been discharged but needs ongoing treatment.
Multiple Charges and Ongoing Investigation
Gill faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, cocaine supply, cannabis import conspiracy, and acquiring criminal property. He remains remanded in custody and is due before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22 April.

The dramatic operation also targeted suspected cannabis importers elsewhere in Kent and Essex. Warrants executed in Buckland Hill, Maidstone, and The Boulevard, Fulham, led to two more arrests.

- Jag Singh, 30, of The Boulevard
Both men have been charged with conspiring to import cannabis and were also remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 22 April.
