Inquest Resumes Over Shocking Clapham Chemical Attack
The inquest into Abdul Ezedi’s death is set to resume at Poplar Coroner’s Court, East London. Ezedi, 35, was tied to a brutal chemical attack on January 31 that left a woman and two young girls seriously injured.
Terrifying Assault on Ex and Her Children
The vicious attack targeted Ezedi’s former girlfriend, a mother of two, and her children aged eight and three, in their South London home. He threw a corrosive chemical substance causing severe burns. Eyewitnesses say Ezedi also physically assaulted the youngest child in the ordeal.
Manhunt Ends in Tragedy
After the assault, Ezedi fled using his bank card to navigate the London Underground. CCTV tracked him along the River Thames until February, when his body was found in the water by the Metropolitan Police’s Marine Policing Unit with support from London Fire Brigade.
Inquest Seeks Answers and Closure
The initial hearing opened and was adjourned in late February, pending more investigations. Authorities hope the resumed inquest will shed light on Ezedi’s death and provide closure to this horrific case.
