Teen Girl Seriously Injured in Gravesend Hit-and-Run

Police are hunting witnesses after a 17-year-old girl was seriously hurt in a collision involving a silver Mercedes in Gravesend. The crash happened around 10pm on Friday, 14 June 2019, on Old Road East.

Triple Collision Sparks Police Probe

The silver Mercedes didn’t just hit the pedestrian. It also crashed into a black Mini Countryman and two parked cars—one on Old Road East and another on Lower Higham Road.

Man Arrested, Police Seek Witnesses

A 47-year-old Gravesend man was arrested over the incident and remains in custody. Officers are piecing together exactly what happened and urgently want anyone who saw the Mercedes driving from Gravesend town centre into Old Road East and Lower Higham Road to get in touch.
