Man Found Dead in Norfolk Home

On Friday night, Norfolk officers rushed to an address in Appleyard Crescent at 9.30pm after welfare concerns were raised. Inside, they discovered the body of a man in his 50s.

Post Mortem Confirms Foul Play

The Home Office post mortem, carried out on Sunday 1 May, revealed the victim died from serious head wounds. Detectives have launched a murder investigation.

Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail

A man in his 60s was arrested but has since been released on bail until Friday 27 May as investigations continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Both the Appleyard Crescent property and another at Shipfield remain cordoned off.

Detectives urge anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area to contact Norfolk Police immediately. Call 101 quoting CAD number 339 of 29 April.
