Brutal Assault on Cyclist in Folkestone Sparks Police Hunt

Kent Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a shocking attack left a man with serious facial injuries.

Attack at The Leas

The disturbing incident took place in Folkestone at around 10.20pm on Friday, 24 July 2020. A man in his 40s was cycling along The Leas when a car pulled up beside him near the junction with Shakespeare Terrace.

Two men jumped out and struck the cyclist across the face before speeding off towards Radnor Park.

Police Seek Crucial Witnesses

The victim required hospital treatment for his injuries. Detectives are appealing for anyone who saw the assault or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
