A man suffered serious injuries after falling—or possibly jumping—from a third-floor window during a police visit in Folkestone.

Routine Check Turns Tragic

The drama unfolded at Lennard Court, off Ryland Place, at around 6pm on Friday. Officers had arrived for what was described as a “routine enquiry” when the man plunged from the building.

Airlifted to London Hospital

Emergency services rushed the victim to a London hospital by air ambulance, highlighting the severity of his injuries.

Investigation Underway

Kent Police have referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), as inquiries continue into the circumstances of the fall.
