Inspector Adam McCaig, Crawley Neighbourhood Policing, stressed the operation’s urgency: “Our goal was to target all levels of criminal networks, from street dealers to supply chain bosses. Our intel-led approach has led to multiple arrests and recovered major evidence.”
16 Charged, Crime Plummets in Crawley
Following the busts, 16 adults face serious charges, including:
- Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine)
- Conspiracy to supply Class B drugs (cannabis)
- Participation in organised crime groups
- Possessing criminal property
Since the crackdown, police report a 50% drop in drug-related crime and personal robberies in Crawley.

Inspector McCaig confirmed this operation is part of an ongoing war against organised crime in Crawley and the South East.
“We’re committed to smashing county lines networks, tearing down their operations, and making sure criminals face justice. This work has already made Crawley safer, and we’ll keep pushing to get these gangs off the streets,” he said.
