Man Stabbed in Woolwich Street Attack

Police rushed to Elmdene Road, Woolwich, at around 11am on Tuesday, 21 March, after reports of a stabbing.

Victim Found Bleeding, Treated in Hospital

Officers and paramedics found a man in his 30s suffering a deep cut to his arm. Staff at a nearby care home spotted him stumbling in the street, bleeding heavily. They quickly called the police and helped stem the bleeding until emergency services arrived.

The victim was taken to hospital, but fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Suspect Arrested on Attempted Murder Charge

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody. Armed officers responded swiftly to the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
