Officers from the Metropolitan Police spotted the man drop the knife and quickly detained him on suspicion of possession of pointed blades. A search revealed more, leading to an additional arrest on suspicion of involvement in the supply of Class A drugs.
The suspect was taken into custody but has now been released on bail, pending further investigations.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, 15 January at around 12:35hrs a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of points and blade after he was seen to drop a knife in High Street, Bromley. After a search, he was further arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.”
