Mark Brazant, 43, from Windmill Road, Ealing, has been charged over a brutal stabbing in Streatham Hill. The man faces attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and carrying a pointed blade.

Josephine Conlon was stabbed three times in the back and face during an unprovoked attack. The horrifying incident happened just before 5.30pm on Monday as she pushed her young child in a pushchair near her home.

Child Escapes Injury as Suspect Faces Court

Thankfully, the child was unharmed. Brazant is due to appear in custody at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 3 January.
