Man Nabbed Over Stolen Moped Drama in Swanley
A 21-year-old man has been charged after police caught wind of a stolen moped in Swanley.
Suspicious Moped Spotted in Industrial Estate
At 11.17am on Saturday 12 May 2018, officers on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle in an industrial estate off London Road. As they approached, a moped sped off.
Charlie O’Grady-Thomas Arrested Shortly After
Charlie O’Grady-Thomas was arrested at his home in Laburnham Avenue soon after the incident. Police seized a moped reported stolen in Surrey on 9 May.
Multiple Charges Laid
O’Grady-Thomas faces charges including handling stolen goods, obstructing police, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a valid licence.
He has been bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 29 May.
