East London Man Busted for Sharing Terrorist Material
Sabbir Miah, 28, from East London, appeared in court after being charged with spreading terrorist publications.
Charged Under Terrorism Act
Miah faces prosecution under section 2 of the Terrorist Act 2006 for disseminating terrorist content. He made his first court appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 November.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Next Hearing
The police’s Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) arrested Miah on Tuesday, 2 November. He was charged that same evening and remanded in custody. Miah will return to Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 19 November.
