Man Charged After Threatening Woman with Air Gun in Gravesend
A 33-year-old man has been charged after allegedly threatening a woman with an air weapon in Gravesend.
Threat at Alfred Road Flats
At around 10am on Wednesday 9 May 2018, police were called following reports that a man had threatened a woman with a gun at a block of flats on Alfred Road. The woman knew the man involved.
Arrest Made as Air Gun Seized
Firearms officers rushed to the scene and arrested Stephen Stanford, who lives on Alfred Road. Officers recovered an air gun from his back garden.
Stanford Charged and Bailed
Stanford has been charged with possessing an air weapon with intent to cause fear or violence. He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court and has been bailed to appear before Woolwich Magistrates’ Court.
