Knife-Wielding Thief Caught After Two Crawley Burglaries
A man has been nailed for two separate crimes in Crawley, including a knife possession during a late-night raid.
Jewellery Stolen from Caburn Court Home
It began on Tuesday, December 12, when police were called to a theft at a residence in Caburn Court. Jewellery was reported stolen, sparking an investigation.
Burglary at Lexi’s Salon in Pound Hill
Just weeks later, on Tuesday, January 2, around 11:30 pm, officers responded to a break-in at Lexi’s Salon on Pound Hill Parade. The incidents were linked to the same suspect.
Joshua North, 31, in the Dock
The culprit was identified as 31-year-old Joshua North, who has no fixed address. Police caught him carrying a knife, adding to his charges.
North pleaded guilty at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on January 4 to burglary, theft, and possession of a knife. His sentencing is set for March 1, where justice will be served.
