Police on patrol were approached at 3.08am on Thursday, 3 June in Caxton Road W12 by a man with a facial injury.
He is thought to have been attacked by a group of males who struck him with a bottle in Uxbridge Road.
The man was taken to hospital by LAS.
There have been no arrests.
Enquiries continue.
