Man Hospitalised After Morning Assault in West London
Violent Incident Shakes Sinclair Road
A man suffered a head injury after an assault at a home on Sinclair Road, West London, early this morning. The attack happened around 8:30am on October 1, close to Hofland Road.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Metropolitan Police officers and London Ambulance Service crews were quick to respond. Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his head injury was assessed as not serious.
Suspect Arrested on Suspicion of GBH
Another man, known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and remains in custody as detectives continue their investigation.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 08:20hrs on Tuesday, 1 October to reports of an assault at an address in Sinclair Road, W14. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A man was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury; his injury is not serious. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH – he remains in custody. Both parties are known to each other. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
London Ambulance Service confirmed: “We were called at 8.25 am this morning (1 October 2024) to reports of an incident in Sinclair Road, W14. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews. Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to hospital.”
