Police Bust Huge Heroin Haul Worth £7m in Merseyside Crackdown
Three men have been charged after officers swooped on two properties in St Helens and Huyton, seizing a massive 73 kilos of suspected heroin worth around £7 million. Merseyside Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) teams struck late Tuesday night, hitting a stash house in Thatto Heath and another address. The haul deals a big blow to local drug gangs.
Three Men Charged Over Massive Drug Haul

Detective Chief Inspector Slams Drug Gangs
“We have successfully removed a large number of dangerous drugs from a crime group depriving them of profits that would be ploughed back into further offending,” said Detective Chief Inspector Paul Speight.
“These drugs are hugely damaging to our communities, bringing intimidation, violence and fear into our neighbourhoods. We will not tolerate drugs. The OCP will take action to make Merseyside a safer place.”
